Dr. Scholl's Inserts for Increased Comfort
Dr. Scholl's inserts come in several varieties, including massaging gel insoles, custom-fit orthotics and high heel-relief insoles. Each product fits inside the shoes you already have, eliminating the need to spend money on new footwear.
How to Use Dr. Scholl's Inserts
To use Dr. Scholl's massaging gel insoles, insert an insole into your shoe with the gel side down. Repeat this process with the other insole. Dr. Scholl's inserts for heels are just as easy to use, but you have to clean the inside of your shoes before you do anything else.
The next step is to remove the plastic backing from each insert. Finally, line up the heel of the insole with the heel of your shoe, and make sure the arch of the insert lines up with the inner edge of your shoe. Press firmly to ensure the insole stays in place. Repeat this process with the second insert.
Custom-Fit Orthotics
Dr. Scholl's custom-fit orthotics are designed to fit the unique shape of your feet. Before you use them, you must go to a custom-fit orthotics kiosk to find your best fit. The kiosk has more than 2,000 pressure sensors to measure the following:
Foot length
Arch type
Pressure points
This ensures a comfortable fit with plenty of support. It takes less than 2 minutes to take these measurements, making it more convenient than ever to address your foot pain.
Once the kiosk has your measurements, it uses the data to recommend a specific pair of inserts. After you purchase the inserts, slide them into your shoes with the fabric side up. Make sure the heel cushion is touching the back of each shoe.
Can You Wash Dr. Scholl's Inserts?
You can wash your shoe inserts by hand or in the washing machine with cold water, making it even easier to care for your aching feet. You can't put the inserts in the dryer, however, so be prepared to hang them on a clothesline or a drying rack.
How Long Do Dr. Scholl's Inserts Last?
It depends on how often you use them, but massaging gel insoles and inserts for high heels should last at least 6 months. Dr. Scholl's recommends replacing your custom orthotics every 6-12 months or as soon as you notice signs of wear.
