Mack's Ear Plugs
Whether you're trying to sleep, study or catch a quiet moment, Mack's earplugs from CVS are easy to take anywhere. Available in either a silicone or foam version, each pair of Mack's earplugs can help block out unwanted noise — even if your partner heavily snores. Able to reduce sounds by 32 decibels, they're ideal for helping you get a good night's sleep or gain focus.
Are Mack's Earplugs Reusable?
One of the best things about Mack's earplugs is that they can be reused. Before using any ear care product from CVS, it's always a good idea to make sure you start with clean, dry hands.
Mack's ultra-soft foam earplugs can be used several times, but once you notice earwax or dirt accumulating on them, it’s time to replace them with a new pair. If you opt for the moldable silicone version, it’s best to throw them away if you notice any debris on them or after five uses.
How to Use Mack's Earplugs
Since there are two different varieties of Mack's earplugs, there are two ways to use them. When you're using the foam version, such as Mack's snore blockers, roll the ends between your fingers, gently insert them into your ears and wait for them to expand. With Mack's pillow-soft silicone putty earplugs, you can mold them to your ears. To insert the silicone earplugs, simply roll the putty into a ball and press it into your ear to create a tight seal. You can also use silicone earplugs to create a watertight seal for swimming.
Are Mack's Earplugs Hypoallergenic?
Doctors give Mack's earplugs a high rating because of its makeup and ability to block sound. While Mack's silicone earplugs are rated as nontoxic and hypoallergenic, it's still important to start with clean ears.
Before inserting earplugs, try utilizing an earwax removal kit from CVS and removing earwax on a regular basis. This will allow you to get the most out of your earplugs without running the risk of getting an infection or having a buildup of earwax. In accordance with the instructions, you should always throw away filthy earplugs or ones that you've used more than five times.
