The brand itself seems wonderful. I thoroughly respect their effort to reduce waste by foregoing an applicator. The o.b.® PRO COMFORT® tampons did seem a bit small at first glance, though. Being somebody who usually requires the super or super plus size, I do prefer a product with more material and more absorption. The o.b.® PRO COMFORT® tampons did not completely leave my liner clean, but most tampons don't. It is a decent product, though. I would prefer a better insertion point on the tampon, as the one on these isn't sufficient, in my opinion. Overall, the o.b.® PRO COMFORT® tampons are mediocre. They aren't the best tampons I have ever used, but they aren't the worst either. I will keep them around for emergencies and travel, as they store easily in a cute carrying case. I have heard of this brand for years but never really looked at it. I got to try these items for free to give my honest opinion. When I first received them I though the box was really small and I was like what is this. I then opened the box and saw that they were really small and has no plastic or cardboard applicator. I thought that was kind of different but I will try it anyways. One thing I love is they are so small they can fit in a small purse or pocket with out anyone really noticing. The only thing bad is I can't wear them as long as I can with regular tampons but that's ok. They do absorb really well and I do like that the string is longer than other brands too so its easier to find. I am still getting use to these but I do like them alot.

Just being honest...I have always had a bit of a negative opinion about tampons that did not come with an applicator. There's no reason why I thought that way about them because I'd really never even tried them before! I received a few boxes complimentary, to try out so, I did! It wasn't as difficult as you might imagine, although I did have a few that weren't positioned correctly at the beginning. Once I figured it out, I did feel secure & protected! I still think I prefer to have an applicator but, if I need to carry with me when I don't have much room to carry them or times I need to be discreet, I will definitely use again because they are about half the size without an applicator! Although I received this product complimentary, in exchange for my honest review, all opinions are my own.

I am familiar with o.b. but it has been years (like teenager) since I had used them. I didn't like them so much because of the no applicator part. Thanks to Smiley 360 I've been able to sample them and try again and my opinion has changed. The no applicator o.b. tampon has changed from what I remembered. The small tampon was tiny and securely wrapped in thin safe plastic. When I removed it, it felt silky smooth but so tight that I couldn't see how it would expand. Once I actually slowly lowered it into the glass of water. it expanded quickly on contact. After trying it during my cycle I was a bit surprised and how well the coverage was. I am sold on the cost of them along with the less waste that they produce with the lack of applicators :)

These were the very first tampons I tried when I wanted to use something other than pads. My mom had no idea I was interested in tampons and I didn't tell her til I had gotten the hang of using them. It didn't take long for me to grasp the concept. Very easy to use, very discreet. All that is required is to pull and move the string around to create a pocket for your finger for insertion and viola...no more being moist all day! I keep them in for about 5 hrs before changing. Overall, I really love these and happy to have been able to try it free through Smiley360.

I am very indifferent about these o.b. Pro Comfort Tampons. I like the silk touch technology and the overall protection these provide, however I prefer an applicator. The super absorbency is perfect for my heaviest flow days. I really enjoy the sleek small design and the fact that I can easily store these in my pocket if needed or in the cute case I received with this sample set. Overall I would use these but if I had tampons with an applicator on hand I would definitely choose the applicator over these. Other than my preference for an applicator these tampons provide really great protection and are extremely comfortable.
