Reviewed 2 years agoVERY UNHAPPY with the scent change from Aloe to Aloe Mist
My husband has been using Irish Spring Aloe soap for many years and after just purchasing 2 new packs, we are VERY DISAPPOINTED that they have changed the scent. The Aloe scent was our favourite but now it is Aloe Mist and it is far too perfumed and strong now. He actually thought I bought the wrong brand of soap, that's how drastic of a change it is. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA, this one is AWFUL!!!

I have showered with Irish Spring Aloe soap for over 20 years. Recently it changed to Aloe Mist and the scent has changed. I hate this new scent very much, and am now looking for another brand.

I grew up in an Irish Spring house and I've used Irish Spring Aloe since it was first introduced. This new Irish Spring Aloe Mist smells absolutely terrible. I can't even have this in my house as the smell is so strong it fills the rooms. I agree with the other reviewers, I'm looking for a new brand to replace this horrible mistake.

Used Aloe in the shower everyday for years. Will not use Aloe Mist any longer. If you do not bring back Aloe I will need to change brands.

Really disappointed with the new soap after using the old formula for over 20 years. Anyone find a good alternative yet and can post in the reviews? Who did the testing or study groups? All the people here with 5 star reviews got the soap for free. Get your act together Colgate.

I finally found a soap I really liked and you changed it. Regular aloe soap was awesome. Aloe mist is not good. Not sure why companies always feel compelled to mess with a good thing. Off to find a new soap again. Wont be Irish spring

I agree that it doesn't seem to lather as well, and the smell is awful. I've used the old aloe forever and was shocked to find the formula changed.

Apparently "Aloe" is discontinued, and replaced with this "Aloe Mist"- it is AWFUL. Lost a lifetime customer. The soap does not lather well, and after first use my wife and I both agreed that I smelled like a jalapeño cocktail! Who in the world approved this product change? Now I have to find a new brand of soap. Thanks Irish Spring.
