Diabetic Supplies for Easy Monitoring and Management

Manage your blood sugar with high-quality diabetic supplies. From monitoring tools to lancets and test strips, you'll find everything you need to help keep your health in check.

Diabetic Supplies for Accurate Blood Sugar Monitoring

Accurate blood sugar monitoring is essential for diabetes screening and management because your measurements guide treatment. That's why a good diabetic monitor is one of the most important things to have on hand, with some of the best being Contour Next One and Freestyle Freedom Lite

Unless you're using a continuous glucose monitor, you may also need lancets to prick your finger and test strips to collect a sample for your monitor to read. Our diabetes care range includes all these necessities alongside compression stockings and other accessories to manage the various symptoms caused by diabetes.

Must-Have Diabetes Supplies

After a diabetes diagnosis, you likely have many questions, including how to manage your condition, what diabetic supplies to keep on hand and which symptoms to watch for. It's always best to discuss any questions you have with your medical provider or pharmacist to ensure you understand how to manage your blood sugar levels properly.

However, apart from the necessities, such as a diabetes monitor and testing items, consider a few other must-have diabetes supplies. Glucose tablets are often among the most important if you have type 1 diabetes, as you always run the chance of experiencing low blood sugar if anything disrupts your meal schedule or your insulin dose becomes too high for your carbohydrate intake.

You might also need to replace OTC medicines for coughs, colds and allergies (particularly if you use lozenges or syrups), as your current products may not be sugar-free. Check all existing medications as well as protein shakes, probiotics and other nutritional supplements you consume.

Essential Diabetes Care Products

Blood sugar management is typically the most critical aspect of diabetes care because the damage the condition can cause comes from allowing your blood glucose to remain too high for too long. However, diabetes may also cause high blood pressure, and you might need a blood pressure monitor to manage this effect.

Another common diabetes symptom is reduced circulation, which might lead to cold feet. Compression socks and stockings may help encourage better blood flow and reduce the fatigue you might experience after being on your feet for several hours. Regular exercise is crucial for blood sugar control, so anything that helps enhance your comfort is essential.
