I usually buy the regular Halls Defense, not the sugar-free; however, when I placed a recent online order, CVS sent me 2 packages of sugar-free, which I promptly exchanged for the regular Halls Defense at my local CVS. I am unable to tolerate the sugar-free version of anything.
That's the only glitch in my recent order.
I like to keep a package of the Halls Defense in my purse as I teach and speak for many hours each day, and I always like to have some kind of lozenges or drops I can keep in my mouth. I find the Halls Citrus flavor to be pleasant, and they are effective at preventing my mouth from getting too dry or preventing me from coughing.
I can't really rate the Vitamin C aspect, but they are pleasant-tasting for times when I really don't want a strong cough drop.
