[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach3 provided a very good shave, however to achieve a really close shave I had to go over the same spots multiple times. To its credit the lubrication strip allowed me to do multiple passes without any noticeable redness or chafing. The feel of the razor seemed a bit ‘light’ but that could be due to me being used to a much sturdier and heavy razor. As for the longevity of the blades, I have used it five times so far and the fifth shave seemed to do just as good a job as the first. Overall the Mach3 provided as good as or slightly better shave then comparable three blade razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillete Mach 3 is a razor above the rest. It is well balanced, sharp, smooth, easy on the eyes, and offers a comfortable shave.
Appearance: It's a traditional razor. What I really loved about mine was that it's handle conforms to my hand. Almost as if it was molded from a template for my own specific use. 10/10
Blades: Three blades that feels as though it's five. They are sharp out the box (thankfully!) and do get pretty close. I made a few rookie errors intentionally like going against the grain, switching direction quickly, shaving my long neck-beard, etc. It performed without nicking myself and turning me into a bleeder.
The only downside to the blades is they are traditional blades and do loose their edge by the first week.
Ease of Use: It's blades are interchangeable now relatively easy. It has definitely been refined to the point of perfection. Also, it's a shaver with razor blades. If you haven't used one before this is a perfect entry with 3 blades. No skills needed like a single blade requires and not as expensive as 5 blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Talk about a smooth shave! Usually after I shave with a hand held razor, I can rub my face and I still feel some stubble. But not with the Gillette Mach 3 - It does a really good job of giving you a close shave. I need a really sharp razor because I take blood thinners, so I can't take a chance on getting nicks. If you use this, you won't have any issues at all. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a high quality shave. And here's a great tip: After you are done shaving, dry off your razor and store it in a dry area and it will last a lot longer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mach 3 is a very solid razor, giving a good shave. It feels solid in your hand, the hinges are responsive to corners of the chin, and the lubricating stripe helps prevent razor burn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this razor I was expecting something different, I let my beard grow out a little because I was on vacation. I was expecting the ame type of shave as my previous disposable razor. That did not happen, the Mach3 glided along my face lines and when it reached the long stubble, it didn’t grab and pull on the hair. It actually cut through the stubble without irritating my skin or the yanking feeling on parts of my chin and neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression is this razor feels light and cheap. Like the razors you would buy from a dollar store.
The razor does give you a fairly close but it was not a close as my 5 blades razors. Although it is easier to maneuver that the 5 blade razor.
I noticed the razor dried quickly when shaving. I had to apply water for lubrication constantly more that with my present razors.
