This has a better release of stubble, than any modern razor I have tried.(Easy rinsing)
This is a great stride, in it's own right.
The comfort is on par with a barbers touch.
Contours easily to fit any jaw line, or wherever it's tasked to work.
It works for extended service, as I have yet to require a blade change.
It works as intended,easily a winner, and gets 4.5 stars. (they are not adjustable)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is a great simple razor. It give a close shave and I don't have any of the "razor burn" feel. Unfortunately, I have gotten used to the +1 razor blade that allows for a trim / definition and the lack of one knocks off a star. I do like that it is light weight, so I will use it as a "travel" razor. If a simple razor is what you are looking for, then I would definitely recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Mach 3 years ago but have been using some of the club blades for the past few years. Trying this razor and blade again since they are supposed to last a long time and be better. I did find it provided a good clean smooth shave, and found no issues with clogging. I have fairly thin hair and usually use a 4 blade so the fact there was such space between each blade was surprising, I think that someone that has issues with thick coarse beard and clogging of the razor would really benefit from this blade. I did like the shave, for the razor it self it felt really light and dainty I am used to a much heavier handle and felt like I didn't have the same control I usually do. It seems the blades and handle are more like a disposable than something I would buy for everyday use. matching it up to a club blade side by side shows why it feels so light, it has much less material to it and if the price is right I think I may use these for travel rather than take my more hefty handle and blades. all in all its a decent razor but missed having an edger single grooming blade on it as well felt a bit to light and cheap for my everyday use taste .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor does a great job of getting A nice close shave in those hard to reach sensitive spots without knicks or causing razor burn. My girlfriend even stole this razor for shaving her legs and said it was really nice to use and easy to handle around the shin, ankle bones and kneecaps- all places she typically has issues with. This razor Works equally as well for quick touch ups and full face shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was great! I used it for the first time the other day and it gave a quality close shave. The fact that there was no after burn or any razor burn made this a quality razor for its triple blade system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received notification I could participate in a Gillette Mach3 Razor review I thought, "what is this, 2002?". In fact, it wasn't.
First introduced in 1998, the Mach3 is approaching 20 years keeping folks clean shaven. Up front, I want to admit I use a Gillette Fusion for my daily shaves, but I did use a Mach3 in the past. I was expecting a slight degradation from the Fusion's performance, and I didn't really get one over this short review period.
I used the Mach3 a total of 7 times. While I use a non-Gillette brand shaving cream/lotion, I was impressed with the Mach3's ability to smoothly take my moderate daily scruff straight down to the skin. I shaved 5 times on 24 hour scruff and twice on 48 hour scruff, and it was able to provide a smooth, tight shave with no irritation.
Another thing I appreciated was how simple and light the razor is (see picture compared to my Fusion). Something basic and clean was appreciated. The other demographic I believe could benefit from a Mach3 are those that are just learning to shave. Save some money, and buy this for your teenagers instead of higher priced options. It will easily handle their fuzz.
That said, I haven't been able to test the limits of the cartridge's performance. I plan to use it until the cartridge needs replacing, and I depending on the results I may actually permanently switch BACK to the Mach3! The cartridges are about 30% cheaper than fusion refills, and considering I shave every day for work, that cost can add up!
Even after 20 years and apparent "advancements in shaving technology" from other razors, the Mach3 still gives a terrific shave and compares well against higher priced razors. Give it a shot if you're up in the air on your razor decision.
