[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of the Gillette family of products for some time. However I was always left with a less than satisfied view of their shaving gel products. I have very coarse facial hair and am prone to razor bumps and never had much luck with a gel that helped with my hairy situation.
Well now there’s a solution!! The Gillette Fusion5 Ultimate Sensitive + Cooling Shave Gel has come to my rescue. In all my years of shaving, I have never come across a gel shaving cream that nearly took away the razor bumps (even after the lubricator strip of my razor head was depleted!). I waited for nearly two weeks to write this review and am still seeing similar results.
The shaving gel itself has a mild and pleasant scent that oozes coolness. What I like about gel compared to other products is I noticed needing a little less gel and lathers well. There is definitely a cooling sensation once the shaving process begins. No burning feeling that I’ve noticed, so the blades seemed to be able to work with less friction (I’m guessing that’s why I had less razor bumps?!) The gel rinses off clean and leaves my skin feeling smooth.
On a scale of 1 to 5 I’d like to give it a 4.5 because my complaint with all shave gels is that the container designs lend to there being waste of shave gel. Extra gel continues to seep out way after you’re done. This is true with all brands. So for that reason only I rounded up to a 5-Star rating. This is the best shave gel I have come across in 15 years. Maybe you will see similar results too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Gillette Fusion5 Ultrasensitive Cooling Gel is a great product. I have never been committed to any one particular shave cream/gel. I have used several brands and they each have their unique pros and cons. So, I tried this new Gillette product with a completely unbiased and neutral mindset.
I used this product for several weeks before fully forming an opinion. I discovered several things I enjoyed while using the shave gel. One thing I liked was the scent - it was quite refreshing! I also appreciated how easily it applied to my face - very smooth with rich lather. The greatest quality of this shave gel, though, was (as it’s name implies) the cooling quality after the shave. Sometimes, I feel some heat sensation after shaving or develop a red hue, but I never once experienced that with this shave gel. I felt like I almost did not to use after shave lotion, but always did (ha it, probably).
Unfortunately, one quality I did not like was the thickness of the lathered gel. It had a tendency to clog my razor blades because it was so thick. It is a minor inconvenience, but I felt compelled to report it, nevertheless.
I am not saying this is the best shave gel I have ever used, but it is an excellent product that has wonderful qualities, especially regarding the post-shave. I have encouraged many guys I know to try this gel because I was impressed so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think they did a great job with this stuff, when they say it is for ultra sensitive they mean it, it helps me get a great close shave, and the cooling factor of this shave gel is true, you can really feel it on your skin after you shave. I would also like to say you don’t have to use a lot of it for it to work well and cover a great amount of area, I shave almost every day so I will say this is a product I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I shop for shaving cream I look for a fresh scent and that is great on sensitive skin. I found it with Gillette Fusion5 Ultra Sensitive Cooling Gel. I like how it provides a great, smooth shave along with a fresh cooling feel and scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Gillette Fusion5 Ultra Sensitive Shave Gel for two weeks now and couldn’t be happier. Unlike other gels that, when rubbed into your face, turn into a foam, Gillette Fusion5 turns into more like a cream that is very thick and soothing while providing a very close shave. After shaving it leaves a menthol like cooling sensation with a light pleasant scent. I highly recommend this extraordinary shave gel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin, and a rich thick beard. I preferred to shaved on daily basis to go to the office, and do my things. I bought and try many type of shaving creams and related products, but the Gillette Fusion5 Ultra Sensitive Shave Gel really hooks me up. Starting with the can dispenser, it provides the perfect amount of the shaving gel, it's a no messy solution. It's easy to apply, and for me, I wait a few seconds before starting shaving to soften the beard. That's the cool part of the shaving process, I only need to do one or two razor passes to obtain the smoothest shaving finish. It works fine with any type of razors, almost obtains the same results. And the best part, is the cool sensation that I feel immediately after the shaving. It doesn't last too much, but enough too make me feel good and clean.
I know that nobody reads the directions attached in the can, but it's has it.
If you are looking for a good shaving gel, I recommend to you the Gillette Fusion5 Ultra Sensitive Shave Gel.
