[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really a little hesitant to try this product, as my wife has turned me into a shaving snob by buying me top shelf shaving supplies. I was pleasantly surprised how well of a shave this gel provides. The other benefit when comparing to the stuff I currently use is the decrease in shaving time. Instead of using oil, letting it soak in, then using a cream...I just lather it right on. I am all about saving time in the morning. Post-shave my skin felt great and absolutely no irritation. I may keep a can of this around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of gels and creams make the claim that they are great for people with sensitive skin. When I shave, I normally have really red irritated skin afterwards. it is so bad that I do not look forward to shaving. I have tried other sensitive skin gels and they have helped some but there was always that irritation. With Gillette Fusion Ultra Sensitive, there was absolutely no red skin or irritation after shaving. My skin felt cool and moisturized. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and recommend to anyone with sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now to start out, I have to shave every day for work. I have super sensitive skin and usually struggle with nicks and cuts when I shave. I have tried many different types of shaving creams and gels. I have stuck with the gels due to the fact that they seem to give me better protection from nicks and razor burn. I have tried many different gels and finally settled with using the least expensive because they all seemed to work about the same. I was excited to receive this Gillette Fusion gel because I had not tried it previously. My first shave was impressive. Usually with sensitive gels, there is no scent or a very faint scent. This Fusion Sensitive Gel has a great scent that is strong while using it in the shower but subtle once washed off. The gel itself offers the best protection I have ever used. It forms a gliding layer over your skin that works super well. The best part is that it washes clean off as well - no sticky or oily residue. The gel creates a thick foam which I love. Helps me to see where I have been and where I need to continue to shave. I was honestly impressed with this gel and will continue to use it. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a fan of shaving in general. It’s especially a problem with the frequent irritation that comes after a shave due to sensitive skin. I’ve tried numerous gels and creams over the years, and Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel Ultra Sensitive is among the best. There’s such minimal irritation, that I could use it to shave daily. Another benefit is post-shave, my face feels smoother and moisturized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaving cream works wonders for me. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this provides a close shave without the worrying effects of razor burn. It has a great scent, and it makes my skin soft as well. Now I just need to find the perfect razor to go with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Gillette Fusion Ultra Sensitive shave gel, It gave me a close, smooth shave with no irritation, it felt good on my skin. My skin felt smooth and hydrated after I used it. Another benefit is, it goes on so smooth and I loved the way the shave gel lathered up...I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Gillette Fusion Ultra Sensitive Shave Gel. Now normally, I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving. I'll get razor burn if I dry shave but otherwise, its not a problem. I tried this product out and I was less than impressed. Lets get down to it:
Pros:
-Very thick foam that lathers great! It puffs up like there's no tomorrow. Very easy to get full coverage with little expelled from the can. This'll make it last a lot longer
-Plastic housing. Rusting out can a thing of the past for someone like me that only needs to shave three times biweekly.
-Doesn't leave much mess on the can. No extra clean up required
Cons:
-The thick lather also quickly clogs the razor, and requires more rinses and more passes. I can't get a clean cut on one pass alone. Two or three are typically required.
-The smell isn't for me. It has a nice masculine smell to it, but its not suited to my pallet. The wife thought it was ok, not good, but ok.
-For being formulated for sensitive skin, I expected to get zero razor burn. That was not the case. I almost would have been better off with soap and water for my shaving cream. It left razor burn on a good chunk of my face. Good thing I wasn't going anywhere tonight.
Final Thoughts: I wouldn't buy it, but it doesn't discourage me from the brand. I've had enough good experiences with Gillette, that I'm not going to let one bad shaving gel dissuade me from their products. But I won't try this one again.

-Does not cut close
I give it three and a half stars. It is nowhere as good as my goto shave cream, but it is a quarter of the price and much easier to find. I have always found mass produced shave creams to be terrible on my skin and to not allow the razor to get close enough. Fusion is great on the skin, but still the razor glides to easily. I have very sensitive skin and it does protect my skin, but at the cost of a not so close shave. Picture is of a day after shave, my normal cream I would have no shadow.
