My cat has been using this product ever since he was a kitten. It absorbs well but sometimes seems to trap the solids in the pan . It has a nice mild smell also but it tends to stuck in my cats paws sometimes. Overall it is a really good product.

I have used Fresh Step for many years and really like the product. I have noticed lately that there seems to much more dust than usual. Also, the new plastic bag is much harder to handle than the plastic containers when replacing litter in the box.

Excellent...But...
This is an excellent product, but I do think it is a bit overpriced. This would not bother me if it still came in the plastic containers. I used them to put the used litter in (placed in plastic bags first, of course). I also used them for other things. I had to switch to Tidy Cat for the nice plastic containers. I do think I liked Fresh Step a bit better, but...

I have had as many as 9 cats at once...
Now only 1 ... And she loves her Freshstep in the Booda box.....
I find it very easy to clean... Clumps very well...

Our Shadow loves Fresh Step and so do we, our apartment is only four rooms,I have friends who cant believe how well our apartment smells. We tryed once to change litters but Shadow would have nothing to do with her litter box. She did her business all over the apartment what a mess to clean up. So we are firm Fresh Step users.

I have been using this exact product for over 12 years. I now have 7 cats indoors that found there way to our farm. The girls are anomant about having a cat box that makes them feel as though I have changed there litter on a daily basis. The fact is, I have to scoop the 4 boxes twice daily and all of us here are VERY satisfied. My 3 dogs have no complaints either. Thank you for making an affordable product we can all enjoy here. The 40 lbs.+, Is a definate bonus.
How about 100-lbs. Buckets? I could sure use a larger size. Thanks again.

I was a faithful fan of another brand for about 10 years. One day when I went into my local warehouse club, they did not have my brand. I did not have time to make another stop so I bought Fresh Step Odor Shield. I had no intention of becoming a customer of Fresh Step, but I did!
I have 3 indoor cats and 2 litter boxes. It work greats with odor control, the clumping factor is excellent and it does not track out of the box like my former litter. My only complaint is the amount of dust it produces when I pour it in a container that I store my litter in. Luckily, the dust does not stick around for long.
Thanks Fresh Step for making a great product.
