1. Cleanse wound, apply a small amount of antibiotic cream and a small non-stick sterile gauze pad to any open skin or abrasion. 2. Measure gauze against injured finger or toe to 2-1/2 times the length. Trim as needed. 3. Slide gauze over the applicator and place on finger (A). 4. While holding the gauze with one finger withdraw the applicator to the end of finger, twist 360 degrees (B) and slide remaining gauze back over end of finger (C) to make a second protective layer (D). Secure with adhesive tape. 5. Place rubber finger protector over injured finger or toe when showering or washing hands.
