CVS Health Mepitel Film Transparent Dressing conforms to your body and provides a thin, flexible, breathable covering that protects the skin or wound from outside moisture and bacteria. Transparent for easy inspection, these dressings also limit the risk for damage to newly formed tissue. The innovative Safetac layer means less pain when removed.

Wear time: Can be worn for several days depending on skin or wound condition or as recommended by your doctor. Can be used alone or with other products. Single use only.
  1. Clean the wound with mild soap and water
  2. Dry the surrounding skin
  3. Open the packaging and remove the dressing from the protective foil
  4. Position dressing over wound.  Dressing can be re-positioned as long as white frame is intact
  5. Remove the white paper frame
  6. Firmly smooth the dressing onto skin
 
 
CVS Health Mepitel Film Transparent Film Dressing is not a wound contact layer product and does not allow wound exudate to pass through the dressing to a secondary layer.  If more than one product is used and they are overlapped, the vapor permeability goes down. This can lead to excess moisture not passing away from skin. CVS Health Mepitel Film Transparent Film Dressing cannot be used as a primary fixation for IVs, cannula ports or other infusion and/or life sustaining devices.
