I bought the CVS brand of early pregnancy test since I thought I could trust their brand (since I buy mostly their brand when I am in the store)...
When I got home, I followed the directions, and my result for the first test was a horizontal line..Not a vertical one like it is supposed to be. I was like "What is this?". I looked online and they said it was a defect in the test..So I said ok. I tested again later with the last test and it just didn't read anything at all! What in the world? Am I having an alien baby or something. xD
Anyway, I went ahead and bought the Clearblue brand test that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Sure enough we are having a baby!

This test gave me a false positive not once but twice. The false positives came up clearly within the time limit. You might as well throw your money in the trash instead of purchase this product. I am NOT pregnant as has been confirmed by blood work. Save yourself the heart break and don't purchase these tests!

The first test gave no positive or negative result. Nothing happened at all.
The second test did not really give a positive or negative result. There was a blue dot on the control line.
This product was awful and a complete waste of money.

the control line does not even show up. i would rather spend a couple extra bucks and get one that works and actually gives a result (positive or negative). do not waste your money. even though they are cheaper, you go though more of them until you get one that actually works.

I bought this test recently (Exp. 2/2015; Lot No. 53227) and two of the three tests did not work --- in that they did not register any result --- I didn't even get a "not pregnant". These tests are a waste of money. Not the first time I've tried these cheaper alternatives. I just thought it was user error last night.

I am not new POAS, so believe me when I say that this was not user error. I bought this 2 pack, and followed the directions to the letter. No line appeared in the control window. Even if you are not pregnant, a line should still appear in the control window. Clearly the tests were defective. I will be contacting CVS for a refund as these tests can be pricy, but when I POAS I want the test to work, and not (almost literally) flush$12.
