Three easy steps.

1. Apply Gauze. Nosebleeds: Fold the small piece of Blood Stop into thirds. Or, for a heavy nosebleed, fold and roll large piece. Insert into nose. Surface Wounds: Clean the wound. Apply Blood Stop to cover.

2. Apply Pressure. Nosebleeds: Compress the bleeding nostril. Surface Wounds: Apply light pressure.

3. Remove. Nosebleeds: When bleeding stops, gently pull or squeeze Blood Stop out of the nostril. Gently rinse with water. Surface Wounds: When bleeding stops, rinse off excess gauze with water, gently wiping without disturbing the wound.

Repeat if necessary. If bleeding has not stopped after the first application of Blood Stop, repeat steps. If bleeding continues, contact a doctor or emergency room. Storage: Keep CVS Health Advanced Blood Stop in a cool dry place for maximum shelf life.
