CURAD Foam Stirrup Ankle Splint

INTENDED USE: To provide support and compression for ankle instability, weak or injured ankles, mild to moderate sprains or strains and after cast removal.

APPLY: Adjust bottom hook-and-loop closures

ADJUST. Position the rigid plastic shells on each side of the ankle

SECURE: Wrap leg straps around the leg and secure with the hook-and-loop fasteners. Readjust if necessary for proper fit and comfort. Stirrup should fit tight enough to provide even and constant pressure. For best results brace should be worn over sock.

The stirrup ankle support should provide supportive comfort and compression but should not be so tight that it restricts circulation. Consult a physician or therapist if experiencing pain or swelling.
