CURAD Back Support with Suspenders

INTENDED USE: Provides lower back and abdominal support. Reminds wearer to use proper lifting techniques.

PREPARE. Open CURAD® Back Support and detach the elastic bands.

APPLY: Loosen suspenders and position the CURAD® Back Support around the hips. Grasp each end of the waistband. Stretch the right end with hook-and-loop fastener across the left and attach (approximately four to six inches of over lap). Fasten the outer elastic bands at your side.

ADJUST: Adjust suspenders for a comfortable fit. For maximum effectiveness, the back support must be properly positioned. The upper edge of the waistband should be just below the navel.

SECURE: Before lifting, grasp the outer elastic bands and pull forward as far as possible. Secure bands in a comfortable position. Release the side elastic bands after lifting is complete.

The back support should provide compression but should not be so tight that it restricts circulation. Consult physician or therapist if experiencing pain or swelling
